I purchased this ATV for my 4 year old and did he ever take to it. We had a blast assembling the ATV, he actually did it himself (with minor, and I mean minor help from dad)... that is how simple it is to assemble. As my little helper in the garden, we attached a peg perego wagon to the ATV and he towed away garden waste and clipping to the compost for daddy. He has also used the ATV when the family went for nature hikes. It took to hard pack dirt pretty well and handled small inclines with ease. The ATV's battery lasted about an hour and a half of mixed inclines and flat surfaces, but we purchased an extra battery which conveniently stored under the seat, which doubled our time. Our son handled the ATV with ease, and I appreciated how stable the unit was. No tip overs! I just wish that the batteries would charge quicker! They are quite expensive! But seeing how much fun my little guy is having on this unit... it is well worth it!
My kids love this toy, they fight who will be the first to ride this toy. My three year old is great on it. It is surprisingly easy to use and assemble. However, the tires need to be replaced and it is not even a year old. All three of my kids (7, 5, 3 yrs) can ride this at the same time. The shocks are great and the battery life can last up and down hills for at least 3-4 miles. Our only disappointment is in the tires.
