My 6.5 year old son loves to build with k'nex and legos. We bought him this set from All Aboard Toys for him to build after his surgery while recovering. This is the first thing he wanted to do when he got home. He had this large set built in 24 hours! I painted a large cardboard box to represent Mars similar to what's on the lego box. My son has loved playing with this and all of his lego Mars Mission sets. This set is real cool because you can put the shuttle up to the tubes and air moves the jewels or the martians to other vehicles. It's real fun for everyone to play together as a family or alone.
