fragile plastic pieces, certainly not constructed very well. Lots of the pieces broke when adults looked at the trailer. Perhaps if it just sat on a shelf, it would last.
My son enjoys pretend play. Compared to other trucks he has, this one is less sturdy than the others. I had expected it to be a little better quality. But he enjoys playing with it and plays with it quite often.
My daughter loves this toy. The design of the trailer and the pictures of the hoses is what drew us to it. We were very happy with how it looked. It is realistic with working parts. However this is what makes it fairly fragile. It can break easily if you are not somewhat careful with it. I read other reviews and warned my 3 and 6 year olds to play with it carefully and so far we have had good luck. Nothing broken so far. This is not for young children though. I would say 6 and up.
Gave this along with the horses that fit the trailer to my Granddaughter as a gift .. she was thrilled .. loves it... added it to her Breyer Collection and manages to play with it almost everyday !!
Grandson spends alot of time with his horse collection and imaginitive play. The pickup and trailer is a great addition to his collection and he loves it.
It is a smaller than I thought and is somewhat delicate, not to be played with roughly.
