Hiro makes his debut in the new Thomas & Friends DVD release, "Hiro, Hero of the Rails". Hiro is a Japanese engine who was once considered Master of the Railway during his heyday at Sodor. Over time, he fell into disrepair and was destined for the smelters yard. Thomas discovers Hiro and commits to bringing him back to his original glory with the help of new friends Kevin and Victor.
