An exquisitely detailed miniature of Breyer's 2012 Holiday Horse, Breyer's "Noche Buena" Stirrup Ornament is created of artist's resin and is framed inside a traditional silver-tone stirrup. Adorned with poinsettia flowers, the ornament hangs from a satin ribbon and features a small poinsettia flower drop dangling from the top of the stirrup. Poinsettias are traditionally associated with the holidays, and are also called "Flowers of the Holy Night" because of a Mexican legend where a child's Christmas offering of weeds on a church altar blossomed into poinsettias!
